I am so very grateful. My family is healthy, I live in a country where I have a multitude of freedoms, and I, and those that I love, are safe, well fed, have a roof over our heads and have little to truly worry about. My hope would be that people everywhere could experience these things and as tomorrow approaches, I do know how very lucky I am and have so much to be thankful for.
Here are some recipes from posts past that might fit the bill for tomorrow.
Peace and love…Geni
Of course, Plain and Simple Pumpkin pie…
Or how about a Devil’s Food Cranberry Cake with white and dark chocolate ganache?
Need a light and easy appetizer to start things out? How about these Brie and Granny Smith Tartlets…
Do you have guests who are staying for the weekend…then perhaps you need this Cranberry Swirl Coffee Cake to serve in the morning.
Whether you’re planning a fancy meal, having a pot-luck, going out or ordering in…the most important thing is to get to be together so try to de-stress, and when turkey mishaps happen…and they always do, remember what you have to be thankful for and just hug those around you.

Its absolutely delightful. I was planning to try a sweet potato pie instead of pumpkin. But that Cranberry cake just look so scrumptious. 🙂
