Sweet And Crumby

Baking, a Love Story

A Parade of Posts of Pumpkins Past {Breakfast Edition}

Until I run out of past posts of pumpkin, I will be featuring a Pumpkin Parade on Thursdays. Today’s Parade features Breakfast in all its Pumpkin Glory.

Personally, I think you need to go all out and make these oh-so-soft-and-fluffy Pumpkin Pancakes with Cream Cheese Dipping Sauce (aka frosting for breakfast)…I guarantee everyone in your household will be singing your praises when they bite into a stack of these babies.

Or these Starbucks’ Copy Cat Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins studded with nuts. Soft, spicy, creamy and a little crunchy…they are sheer pumpkin perfection

Perhaps you need to wake up to something Pumpkin-y because the sugar plum fairies have visited your dreams and you just can’t get the pumpkin craving and cup of coffee out of your mind so maybe you should make this Pumpkin Apple Coffee Cake with Crumble Topping.

And finally, for those of you who woefully have come to the wrong blog for a parade of healthier fare, here is my one and only ode to the healthy pumpkin breakfast my friends. And let me tell you, these Pumpkin Muffins will not disappoint you one iota. They should not have “healthy” attached to their title because it misleads you into believing that they are not delicious, soft, fluffy and every bit as good as any of those bad boys above (well just about anyway…).

I do hope you do get a chance to make some of these pumpkin breakfast treats. There’s just nothing homier than sitting down to a breakfast filled with pumpkin flavor and aromas of nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon.
