Bait and Switch Delectable Gluten Free Pumpkin Pancakes

I am honest to a fault.┬áSeriously to a fault. I always bring baked goods and then instantly blurt out ANYTHING minuscule that went awry, as if someone slipped truth serum into my coffee. My most recent admission was,..”I got wrapped up in watching re-runs of Chuck and may have left these muffins in a stitch too long.”

The pictures you see here, unfortunately, are from my last year’s post of my AP Flour pumpkin pancakes. My problem was that I kept making my delicious, fabulously soft, not gritty and very fluffy GF pumpkin pancakes and running out of time to take pictures. Life’s a bit of a bumpy ride for the moment at best (more like an unpaved road in a construction zone. See? Honest to a fault).

Book Review: Gluten-Free Baking Classics by Annalise Roberts

I have only written one other book review over here at Sweet and Crumby. And basically, that’s because usually I find cookbooks very nice and inspiring, but I don’t find them something worth talking about necessarily.

But Gluten-Free Baking Classics, honestly, changed our lives and made us happier. When else can you say that about a cookbook? I have a gluten sensitive family member and trying to make things taste “as good as” was impossible…so I thought. Continue reading

Shake your GF Mixture Like A Polaroid Picture {Featuring Cinnamon Apple GF Pancakes}

I know, for most of us gluten free doesn’t exactly spell delicious. But these pancakes are heavenly. I am not a liar, at least I am fairly sure of that, and honestly these pancakes are spicy, soft, tender and not one iota grainy which some gluten free products can be infamous for.

This batch happened to have chocolate chips as well. We live big around here.
